How does a colorful group of young people become an orchestra? How do musicians integrate into existing structures while playing together? The Angelika Prokopp Summer Academy of the Vienna Philharmonic assists in this fascinating process and promotes the training of the orchestral youth. Under the direction of the Hungarian conductor Martin Rajna, born in 1995 and set to become the chief conductor of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra in 2025, the stars of tomorrow will showcase their talents this time in Ludwig van Beethoven's exuberantly humorous Symphony No. 4: In this work, Beethoven pays a playful homage to his former teacher Joseph Haydn as a mature composer.
