2. Chamber Concert

In the prelude concert on Saturday afternoon, dance will be experienced for the first time at the music festival as an art form that visually and expressively expands and complements music. An exciting program will be performed, starting with the 6th Suite for Solo Cello by Johann Sebastian Bach. Following that, the American "Minimal Music" composer Steve Reich will demonstrate how a single clarinet, through audio playback – as if by magic – can transform into a whole clarinet ensemble. Finally, you will hear Prokofiev's rarely performed, enchanting Sonata for Two Violins.
