- Guitar lessons starting at the age of 8
- Apprenticeship as an electric bassist in the "Heinz-Fibich-Trio"
- Studied at the University of Vienna
- Teacher certification as a secondary school teacher
- Full-time children's songwriter since 1991
- Father of three adult children

- Lives in Waldviertel (Lower Austria)
- Approximately 250 participatory concerts per year throughout Austria
