Schubertiade Dürnstein

When the hills along the Danube begin to turn green and spring, like 200 years ago, calls for the first country outings, the municipality of Dürnstein annually invites enthusiastic "Schubertians" to the Dürnstein Abbey, which then celebrates three days dedicated to the music of Franz Schubert. Not only are there first-class performances by the artists, but there are also always interesting—and sometimes amusing—new insights into Franz Schubert and his time.
