A polyphonic cultural journey through the expansive Balkan region, focusing on the diverse traditional music of the area, which has been included by UNESCO in the "Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity." The vocal ensemble GLAS engages with the complex rhythms and singing techniques of the music from Southeast Europe, hailing from regions such as Bosnia, Croatia, North Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, and Greece, with a detour to Slovenia and the world of the Roma. The singers themselves come from Slovenia, Bosnia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Austria. The songs are performed in their original languages.
