"Wels during the time of the NS"

Join a state-certified tour guide on a journey through the traces left by National Socialism in Wels. This tour will highlight the consequences in the city and visit the most important sites. The post-war period plays a significant role, laying the foundation for many public institutions in Wels. The historical tour "National Socialism in Wels" takes participants to locations and memorials of Nazi crimes, providing insights into the difficult life of that time as well as the existing resistance of some residents of Wels against Hitler and his terror regime. The aim of this tour is to create a broader awareness of this dark chapter in the history of the city of Wels.
