In 2026, there will also be a free tour at the Pferdezentrum Stadl-Paura every Saturday at 2 PM. This offering has been created in collaboration with the Traunsee-Almtal Tourism Association. The highlight is the visit to the stables with horses of various breeds. Horses were not only indispensable in the past but are also essential for our society today. There is a deep and emotional connection between humans and horses.

During the one-hour tour, you will also learn about the 24-hectare area with its unique historical buildings from the Austro-Hungarian era and its 200-year history. Since its privatization at the turn of the millennium, the Pferdezentrum Stadl-Paura has developed into a modern event venue as well as a teaching and training facility.

For visitors, not only are the tours free, but also the more than 100 events held on weekends each year. Additionally, a cozy conclusion with our culinary offerings in the Karl-Bauer-Halle and the inn "7er Stall" is highly recommended.

The Austrian Pferdezentrum Stadl-Paura sees itself as a unique center of competence for horse breeding, equestrian sports, and the training of horses and humans. The Pferdezentrum fulfills essential societal services in the following areas:
Breeding. The cross-state selection in breeding at foal championships, mare book registrations, stallion approvals, as well as material and performance tests ensure the future and diversity of healthy and capable horses in Austria.
Sport. The Pferdezentrum Stadl-Paura hosts international tournaments, top-notch courses, and seminars for all disciplines of equestrian sports. It is thus the only facility in Austria that offers this range in equestrian sports. This provides high-quality training and educational opportunities, especially for youth. The majority of disciplines can be practiced year-round.
Education. Visitors to the Pferdezentrum Stadl-Paura are taught the high value of horses in our society and their diverse applications in leisure, therapy, etc. The professional training of horses goes hand in hand with further education for riders and drivers.
Culture and Tourism. For nearly 200 years, the Pferdezentrum Stadl-Paura has been a significant cultural institution in Austria. During this time, the horse has transformed from a war and work animal to a leisure and sports partner. This development can be impressively experienced here – in the world of horses.

Arrival in Stadl-Paura at the Stadl-Paura Gmundner Straße stop at 11:10 AM. After a short walk, you will reach the Pferdezentrum and can enjoy lunch at the inn 7er Stall, stroll along the Traun to the Trinity Church or the impressive Lambach Abbey before the tour at the Pferdezentrum starts at 2:00 PM.
