Schlesinger Duo

With their first album "Intersections," the crossover guitar duo catapulted to the top of the European fingerstyle scene (Concerto 6/22). Following an extensive tour in Australia, they are now presenting "Interwoven," the new program of the duo, which is currently evolving into a new album. It is called Interwoven because it focuses on the intertwined stories and experiences of the two guitarists, Carina Maria Linder (classical guitar, vocals) and Markus Schlesinger (fingerstyle guitar, vocals).

While in their debut work they still met at their stylistic and musical intersections, their music has now grown into an independent style that blurs the boundaries of classical, jazz, and world music, creating its own musical universe. Inspired by their first tour in Australia, the idea emerged that it is the interweaving and exchange among individual personalities that forms a fruitful whole. The two are now dedicating an entire recording to this thought and will present new pieces as well as selected earlier works along the way.
