We are designing a simple bench inspired by the style of the "Ishinomaki Laboratory," which was established as a public workshop after the devastating tsunami in Japan to support the community in rebuilding. The result is aesthetically pleasing, robust, and durable furniture for both indoor and outdoor use, which still shapes the cityscape of Ishinomaki today. We will craft the benches from the wonderfully fragrant, durable, and fine-grained black pine from the upper Piestingtal valley.
