For many people, Indian Summer is the most beautiful time of the year. Meteorologically speaking, Indian Summer is a late summer period of stable, warm, sunny weather. Good to know: The old German origin of the word 'weiben' has nothing to do with old ladies. 'Weiben' meant weaving. The weather resembles a late summer, and fine spider webs float through the air, allowing young spiders to transport themselves to new habitats.
