Opening at the Ruster Seebad

This year, the idyllic lakeside resort of Rust once again invites you to the popular Lake Opening! From May 1st to May 3rd, 2026, visitors can look forward to a diverse program that celebrates the start of the season at Lake Neusiedl in style. Additionally, the Lake Opening offers numerous activities for the whole family:

- Family festival at the lakeside resort with games, fun, and entertainment
- Boat tours for an unforgettable view of Lake Neusiedl
- Sailing school and paddling center with introductory courses for water sports enthusiasts

The lakeside resort of Rust will showcase its beauty this weekend and provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the first warm spring days by the water. We warmly invite everyone to join us and experience the special atmosphere of the Lake Opening! Admission is free!

May 2, 2026:
- 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM: Free boat testing at the paddling center Rust
- 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Reed tour in a 10-person canoe*
- 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM: Open house at the Burgenland Yacht Club
- From 10:00 AM: Melo's Fries - Food, Drinks & Music, on the sunbathing lawn at the lakeside resort of Rust
- From 10:00 AM: Ice Box - Drinks, Pizza & Ice Cream
