Summer Solstice in Dürnstein

Every year in mid-June, the Wachau is all about the summer solstice and celebrates the beginning of summer with a colorful spectacle of romantically illuminated vineyards with torches and fires, as well as impressive fireworks.

Spend the whole day in Dürnstein and Loiben:
Discover Dürnstein and Loiben with the new Top Tours on a short walk or a small hike, for example to Loiben!
There, the winemakers of Loiben offer the "Wine Experience Loibenberg" from 2 PM to 6 PM:
Stroll through the terraces of the "local mountain" of the Loiben winemakers and taste the site-specific wines directly in the vineyards.
From 5 PM until late into the night, there will be simple culinary offerings and a program at the Danube embankment in Dürnstein:

10:45 PM: Fireworks over the Dürnstein Ruins with "Waterfall"
