Maypole raising by the Nature Friends

The raising of the Maypole, adorned with a green wreath and colorful fluttering ribbons, is a common tradition throughout Austria. This custom is also celebrated enthusiastically in Radstadt. The pole is erected directly in the town square. At 10:00 AM, the Maypole will be raised in the town square, followed by delicious local delicacies accompanied by live music right on site.
