While you experience the impressive atmosphere of the large neo-Gothic interior, you will learn details about the history of the Mariendom's construction.
Using the magnificent stained glass windows, the construction of the cathedral is depicted in meticulous detail, portraying the individuals responsible for the cathedral's construction around Bishop Franz Josef Rüdiger (the cathedral builder) and establishing connections to the history of the diocese, the city, and the region.
In the crypt (Latin for "the hidden"), you can visit the graves of the deceased bishops of Linz and the "cornerstone."
Please note: The number of participants is limited.
The meeting point for the tour is the DomCenter, located directly at the cathedral square.
