In this special tour, the path leads from the famous and newly restored nativity scene by Sebastian Osterrieder in the crypt of the Mariendom, up the spiral staircase to the inner gallery of the cathedral, which offers a unique view of the vast interior and the intricately painted high choir windows depicting the scene of the birth of Jesus. These tours take place during Advent every Sunday at 3:00 PM, as well as on the holidays (December 8, 25, and 26, January 1 and 6). By the way: Paths to Christmas can also be explored individually and independently of a guided tour: At several stations, panels highlight Advent and Christmas motifs in the Mariendom. The texts invite you to pause, linger, and reflect.
Please note: The number of participants is limited.
