The daily open show garden of Stift Geras awaits you! Stroll through at your own pace, enjoy, smell, and discover.
In addition to cultural varieties of medicinal and culinary herbs, you will also find healing wild plants, trees, and shrubs with healing properties, as well as medicinal poisonous plants. The signage with German and botanical names, along with information about their effects, turns the herb garden of the monastery into a walkable encyclopedia of folk medicine. Each year, a herb of the year is chosen - can you find this year's?
Tip - On the premises, you will find the Herb Priest Center - the natural shop & herb parlor offer many things related to the topic of herbs - SAT 9 AM - 12 PM, closed on SUN.
