LUZIWUZI - I am the Empress

Archduke Ludwig Viktor, also known as Luziwuzi, is considered the most eccentric Habsburg and the most multifaceted historical figure of the Austrian imperial era. Many legends surround the youngest brother of Emperor Franz Joseph. As a free spirit with "special inclinations" and a malicious gossip in the eyes of some, he also stood out as an art lover and a favorite of the court society. As an eternal bachelor without military or official duties, he lived a life that was otherwise impossible for anyone, until several scandals led to a tragic end.

Successful director Ruth Brauer-Kvam takes on this story and, with an extraordinary ensemble led by Tom Neuwirth aka Conchita Wurst in his theatrical debut, creates a musical-theatrical evening that balances extravagant glamour and heart-wrenching tragedy.
