Tradition, Arts and Crafts, and Perchten in Steyregg

On Saturday, December 6, 2025, the Christmas market will take place again in Steyregg. The Steyregg associations will once again take care of the visitors' culinary needs with bratwursts, smoked fish, raclette bread, crepes, punch, and more.

In the town hall, there will be much to marvel at: a variety of arts and crafts will be offered, from jewelry to carvings, crocheted and felted items, and cookies, ensuring that everyone finds a wonderful Christmas gift.

The festive musical accompaniment will be provided by the Advent brass players of the Steyregg town band, Ms. Alexandra Dobner, Flikkwerk, the men's choir, and the horn players from the Steyregg music school.

Saint Nicholas will also visit the children again, bringing a Nikolaus sack for each child.

Everyone can also look forward to the wonderfully spooky highlight of the evening: the Mühlviertler Rauteufel will showcase their performance and the artistic Perchten, presenting a piece of tradition.
