And where could the Funeral Museum be better located than at the world-famous Vienna Central Cemetery? Precisely - nowhere! A modern, interactive museum has been created on 300 m² under the historical laying out hall. Visitors learn interesting facts about Viennese mourning ceremonies, the funeral system, the history of Vienna's cemeteries and the peculiarities of the "Viennese cult of the dead" from the end of the 18th century to the present day.
