U20 Poetry Slam - Jungle Vienna

The Poetry Slam is your stage to show the audience what moves, angers, or makes you happy through your texts and performances. Join in and share the power and beauty of words in an exhilarating show full of wit, poetry, and impact. Feel the energy as the stage comes to life through the voices of all the young word artists who express their stories, emotions, and thoughts in a captivating way. Experience an unforgettable evening that will touch you and inspire your thoughts. Your texts. Your stage. The only conditions are a time limit of 5 minutes, an original performed text, and the absence of props, costumes, and singing. Beforehand, you can polish your text and performance with experienced slam artists. Those who do not wish to perform themselves are warmly welcomed as listeners or judges! Oh, and of course, the audience can also be over 20. Before each U20 Poetry Slam, there is a writing class at 4:00 PM called "schreib’ KLASSE!". Adina Wilcke and her team will guide you in writing and provide tips for your performance at the slam. Participants of the "schreib’ KLASSE!" get free entry to the slam! Led by: Adina Wilcke.
