Craftsmanship, Music, and Traditions in Bad Goisern

The event certainly stands for rich traditions, as nowhere else but at the Goiserer Gamsjagatage are the old customs so well combined with regional entertainment.

A highlight of the Goiserer Gamsjagatage, organized by the Bürgermusik Bad Goisern, is the Radlpirsch, where a multitude of mountain bike enthusiasts gather each year to explore the landscape and enjoy fun stations together.

The Goiserer Gamsjagatage are also known for showcasing local craftsmanship, while attendees can listen to the sounds of traditional music. A small, fine craft and gourmet market takes place on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30, the HAND.WERK.HAUS Salzkammergut will be open with its special exhibition. Guided tours will take place each morning. Here’s a brief look back at the year 2025, when the Goiserer Gamsbartolympiade also took place: Ulli Hillbrand, Wallner Petra, and Spreitzer Christian were guests on the free radio Salzkammergut in the show "A gmiatliche Stund!"

8:00 PM Opening in the courtyard of Neuwildenstein with beer tapping, moderation, presentation of associations/craftspeople, yodeling brass quartet Ramsauer Quartett, music by D'Arikogler

Saturday
Morning pint in the small festival tent with Edelweiß 3
From noon, folk music in the courtyard of Neuwildenstein
1:30 PM Start of Radlpirsch
2:00 PM Entertainment with the Heimatgruppe Obertraun in the small festival tent or at the marketplace
5:00 PM Award ceremony for the Gamsbartolympiade in the festival hall, musically accompanied by Zomghoazt and the "Young" Beriga Pascher
7:00 PM Goiserer Clarinet Music in the courtyard of Neuwildenstein

Sunday
From 10:00 AM Morning pint in the small tent at the marketplace with the music band Unterweißenbach
From 12:00 PM Folk music at the Woodcutter Museum with the singing association Berghoamat, Beriga Weisenbläser, singing association music
1:30 PM Paschertreffen in the courtyard of Neuwildenstein
