Three spirits will come to you. Expect the first one tomorrow morning when the clock strikes one. Christmas in the Sixties: Andy Williams, glitter everywhere – a feast for the senses! But not for everyone. The successful Miss Scrooge prefers to work even on Christmas Eve, and so her employees are caught up in it as well. Late in the evening, she sits alone in her office, annoyed by the noise of Christmas carols from the radios, by the intrusive joy of her relatives, by the general waste of money for a single day – which is just like any other. But is it really? The Christmas spirits that will haunt Miss Scrooge at night think otherwise!
Charles Dickens' story A Christmas Carol, published in December 1843, is one of the most famous Christmas stories of all time. Director Werner Sobotka energetically sets the story in the 1960s and casts Maria Köstlinger as his Miss Scrooge.
