The depot of the city of Leonding is coming to life. The new special exhibition, held in celebration of the anniversary "50 Years of City Status," allows encounters with parts of the local historical collection and provides insights into the workings of the depot.

Collecting, organizing, and preserving objects and writings in depots, cabinets of curiosities, and archives has been practiced in Europe for centuries.

But what is worth collecting? And how does one go about it? According to what principles are collections organized? And can an object also be "de-collected"?

All of this will be part of the story(ies) told exclusively through the objects of the local historical collection of Leonding.
