Seppi Neubauer - Hot Love

Cynical and with his usual quick wit, Seppi Neubauer takes his audience to a wedding and presents the bride with his gift: the renovation plans for her deceased grandmother's old house. When the renovation turns out to be a drastic miscalculation, a dispute threatens to escalate right at the wedding. The secret and troubling diaries of the deceased uncle and the heavily intoxicated ex-boyfriend of the bride unfortunately do not help to calm the situation. But as long as love burns hotter than the earth, everything is fine, right?

In this program, Seppi Neubauer slips from one role to the next, continuously passing the ball back to himself—not only in terms of content but also for the next punchline!

“The audience shouldn’t even realize that they are sitting in a lecture about the technical term ‘climate change adaptation.’ My goal is to provide maximum entertainment. This way, people will also take home their share of the content,” says Seppi Neubauer.

The piece lasts a lively 60 minutes (no intermission) and is the result of collaboration with the Energy Region Weiz-Gleisdorf GmbH as part of the KLAR! program.

Having received multiple awards for various cabaret performances and now also known from television and radio, Seppi Neubauer is particularly passionate about climate change this time. “Hot Love” is an example of how this socially sensitive topic can be laughed about heartily without pointing fingers at others.
