Diary Slam - A Journey Back to One's Own Adolescence

Sweet Cringe: Who doesn’t know it? The gloriously embarrassing and all the more amusing diary entries from teenage years, travel journals, or simply from back then? We have them! A hilariously awkward journey into the depths of our own and others' puberty. Honest, touching, unrelenting, sorrowful, exaggerated, longing, unmoored, and misunderstood. That’s how our school and youth years were and still are. And so are our diary entries from that wild and unpredictable time of growing up. Four amateurs will read live from their old diaries. This has been happening at the Wiener TAG since 2013. In October 2014, five episodes were also aired in DIE.Nacht on ORF 1. Since summer 2015, the provinces have been conquered. After 12 years, an era at TAG in the 6th district is coming to an end, and the Diary Slam is moving to the 3rd district at Rabenhof. Just like back then, the only constant in the present is change. The audience decides the winner of the evening. Everyone receives prizes because anyone who has survived puberty unscathed is a winner. Concept/Idea + Moderation: Diana Köhle.
