Edwyn Collins - The Testimonial Tour 2026

With "A Girl Like You," Edwyn Collins achieved a worldwide hit in 1995. Ten years later, the shock: the Scottish musician suffered two strokes within a few days! With incredible determination, he fought his way back to life. Edwyn Collins never thought of giving up; since then, he has been regularly releasing albums again.

Next Friday, another masterpiece by Edwyn Collins will be released: his album "Nation Shall Speak Unto Nation." The 11-track album will be released on his own label, AED Records. It was produced in his Clashnarrow Studio in Helmsdale, in the northeast of Scotland, by Edwyn together with Sean Read and Jake Hutton, and features James Walbourne (g), William Collins (b), Carwyn Ellis (g), as well as Lena Wright and Bianca White as backing vocalists.

"Knowledge," the first track of the album, is accompanied by a video that was filmed in Edwyn's hometown of Helmsdale between Christmas and New Year. About the title, Edwyn said: "Knowledge is something I think about. I used to be quite clever and in some ways still am. But knowledge is wisdom, combined with all the things you have learned. I think, I hope, I have learned a lot."

At the end of January 2026, Edwyn Collins will present the album live in Vienna, Linz, and Dornbirn as part of his farewell tour "A Last Lap Around Europe." Of course, all his hits like "A Girl Like You" will also be included.
