Since 1996, this Austrian export hit – the original with Kendlinger's K&K Philharmonikers – has captivated more than 1.5 million enthusiasts in 19 European countries – a musical fountain of youth that even kings and emperors would truly enjoy – cult status included! In 1996, Matthias Georg Kendlinger launched this tour – one of the most successful in music history with well over a million visitors to date: Matthias Georg Kendlinger, founder of the K&K Philharmoniker, the K&K Ballet, and the K&K Opera Choir. Together with his ensembles, he receives bravos and standing ovations, among others, in the concert halls of Madrid, Zurich, Oslo, Paris, Berlin, and the Vienna Musikverein. Kendlinger annually curates the program, conducts the rehearsals, and is often seen at the podium. Alternating conductors include his son Max Kendlinger, Taras Lenko, and Ihor Muravyov. In selected cities, Kendlinger's K&K Ballet can also be experienced – co-founded by the unforgettable Viennese choreographer Gerlinde Dill, who choreographed for over two decades for the world-famous New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic. From 2009 to 2020, Viktor Litvinov, former ballet master of the Kiev State Opera, followed in her footsteps.
