Advent concert in the Capuchin church

In the heated Capuchin Church, the Advent concerts span a festive arc from festive trumpet music to selected texts and the most beautiful Christmas carols - a wonderful way to prepare for the approaching Christmas season with both contemplation and joyful vigour.

The Capuchin Church is centrally located near the State Opera in Vienna's city centre and is famous for the Capuchin Crypt (Imperial Crypt), which served as the burial place of the Habsburgs for centuries. Its simple interior is also its trump card - visitors are fascinated by the wooden interior.

Combination ticket: Combine your concert visit with the most famous crypt in the world, the Capuchin Crypt. The burial place of around 150 members of the Habsburg family since 1618 lets you experience 400 years of Austrian and European history. Marvel at the tombs of famous rulers such as Emperor Franz Joseph and his beautiful wife Elisabeth "Sisi" or the impressive double coffin of Empress Maria Theresa. Last admission to the crypt is at 17:30, so it can be perfectly combined with the concert.
