Blonde Angel & the Band for Good Tone

Blonde Angel, that winged Linz songwriter with a flair for gold leggings, has recently been letting his mischievous grin peek out more often from under his cowboy hat. How fitting, then, that in his new backing band, the Band for Good Tone, he has found three companions who masterfully know how to embed his sharp-tongued lyrics along with a touch of steel city romance into country-esque melodies and arrangements. With incredible enthusiasm and outrageous improvisational talent, the four cowboys from Rio Danubio set out and invite you to a concert evening in search of a musically cheeky Hallelujah.

Blonde Angel - vocals, guitars, banjo
Lukas Höfler - guitars, pedal steel, vocals
Daniel Zoglauer - bass, vocals
David Eibl - drums, percussion

Songs that are funny and sometimes a little sad, but that's okay

Sometimes the title for a tour is so fitting that it hardly needs a press release - the name is the program, so to speak. "Songs that are funny and sometimes a little sad, but that's okay" (short: LDLSUMEBTADIO) is such a title, and yes: it is a bit awkward and long. But if you don't need a press release for it anyway, that cancels out, right!? After all, it would only contain something pulled out of thin air about "artistic development and gaining breadth," some nonsense about "masterfully balancing between 'funny and serious'" and buzzwords like "best of both worlds" or "sensitive funny." And since Blonde Angel is always enchanted by the uniqueness of his concerts (in other words: because he never sticks to the setlist and plays what he wants), such a rigid press release is essentially a misalignment of the theme. In this sense: immerse yourself in songs that are funny and sometimes a little sad. That's okay. Really! Look forward to a best of both worlds, where the artist gains breadth in the balance of "funny and serious" and invites you to a magically unique concert evening that is sensitive and funny.
