ABOUT THE CONCERT
Six top female musicians from the Vienna Philharmonic come together in an exciting combination of string and woodwind instruments. Drawing from their orchestral music tradition, they span their repertoire from classical Viennese dance music to jewels of opera literature, as well as excursions into the world of film music, and they captivate with newly composed works written for them. Viennese sound culture, virtuosity, and unbridled joy of music-making unite the six ladies in their own “La Philharmonica” style.
