The Atalante Quartet and the Ukrainian bandoneon player Andrej Serkov take an excursion into the tango universe of Astor Piazzolla. Original works by the Argentine master will be performed, as well as pieces specifically arranged for this ensemble centered around the bandoneon, which was Piazzolla's favorite instrument. It is a tango experience, though without dance, yet in the spirit of the composer: "For me, tango has always been more for the ear than for the feet."
