Heinz Marecek & Erwin Steinhauer - Why are you laughing?

The two full-blooded comedians Heinz Marecek and Erwin Steinhauer are bringing their successful program "Why Are You Laughing?" back to the stage in celebration of Heinz Marecek's 80th birthday on September 17, 2025. The program, which was performed over 120 times and sold out across Austria more than 25 years ago, not only features the classic double conference – with Steinhauer as the "Smart One" and Marecek as the "Dumb One" – but also solo pieces from both acting legends. The comeback is supported by years of stage experience, sharp humor, and a deep appreciation for the Viennese cabaret tradition.
