The "alternative folk musicians" MATAKUSTIX will once again ignite a fireworks display of musical emotions in 2026, together with many high-profile surprise guests, in the eastern bay of Lake Wörthersee in Klagenfurt. They break down the walls between traditional folk music and hot pop music. Beatboxing and live looping meet trumpet, accordion, and garden hose. Choirs and bands are accompanied by rocking drum grooves. "MATAKUSTIX" are musical boundary crossers, equipped with exceptional skill, a lot of heart, and endless creativity.
