The Three ??? The Legacy of the Master Thief as a Participatory Audio Play

Oliver Rohrbeck, known as Justus Jonas from the cult audio play series "The Three ???", will be touring again in 2026 alongside sound effects artist Jörg Klinkenberg. They bring with them a unique participatory event. The focus is on the story "The Three ??? The Legacy of the Master Thief," which has been specially adapted for the stage. Together with up to eight fans, a unique live audio play is created at each performance – right before the audience's eyes. Using everyday objects, surprising effects, and a lot of finesse, Jörg Klinkenberg conjures up the soundscape that one usually knows only from the finished audio play. This is complemented by selected musical elements and a detailed sound design that perfectly sets the scene for the adventure.

Content of the episode "The Three ??? The Legacy of the Master Thief"
Victor Hugenay is dead! The master thief and arch-rival of the three ??? has died in a fatal accident. In a mysterious will, he leaves clues to previously undiscovered stolen goods: several valuable paintings worth millions of dollars. The three detectives take up the trail, but the first detective seems to be a bit distracted. What is going on with the head of the three detectives? When a mysterious stranger appears, who also seems to be after the hidden paintings, Justus, Peter, and Bob must show what they're made of. Will they solve the final riddle and find the missing paintings before their mysterious pursuer?

The Online Casting
As the name suggests, you can participate in this live audio play. For many acting-talented "The Three ???" fans, this has fulfilled a dream during the last participatory tours. The Lauscherlounge organizes a casting for each tour date, where every visitor has the opportunity to submit a video in advance to audition for a role. Oliver Rohrbeck personally reviews all submissions and selects a handpicked cast for each show. The casting for this participatory tour begins in the summer of 2026.
