Weekend Course: Learning from a TV Director

Video production is booming! Every day, millions of new video clips are uploaded to platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. Professional videos have also become indispensable as inserts in events or for product promotion! But how can aspiring filmmakers achieve convincing quality?

This is answered by experienced TV director Martin Nowak in this course. In addition to solid knowledge of visual design, dramaturgy, and actor direction, there will also be practical exercises: Participants will shoot short scenes under guidance. The optimal preparation of the material for multimedia platforms or social networks will also be discussed in this workshop.

Who is leading the course?
Martin Nowak is a German producer and television director who has been involved in more than 1,000 productions for ARD, ZDF, RTL, and SAT1, and has developed popular television shows that still captivate millions of viewers today. Martin Nowak is currently the creative director of bluefish.media GmbH, which counts many significant organizations among its clients. He is also a co-initiator of the Uplink Academy.

In the premises of Uplink Medien GmbH, a film studio for media training, centrally located at the Wels main train station.
