Lipizzaner Gala 2026

Before the stallions of the Spanish Riding School bid farewell to their well-deserved summer vacation, they will present themselves once again at the Lipizzaner Gala at Heldenberg in their best light. Set against a picturesque natural backdrop, they will showcase classical equestrian art at the highest level on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 7:00 PM – accompanied by Max Müller, who will once again delight the audience in 2026 after last year's great success.

An extraordinary cultural event at Heldenberg
For the 17th time, the Lipizzaners of the Spanish Riding School, together with their riders, will present classical equestrian art at the highest level. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to experience the beauty and elegance of the noble stallions up close and enjoy Austrian culture in a special ambiance. In perfect harmony with their riders, the white stallions will impressively showcase their skills.

Continuation of a success story: Max Müller at Heldenberg
After last year's great success with the audience, the popular actor and singer Max Müller will return to Heldenberg this year. Known to many as "Michi Mohr" from the successful series "Die Rosenheim-Cops," the native Carinthian captivates the audience with his distinctive stage presence and great musical expressiveness.

With his warm baritone voice, Müller takes guests on a special musical-literary journey: His successful program "Tierisch" combines songs and texts around the theme of "Animals" – from Rossini and Mozart to hits from the 1930s and 1940s. This creates goosebump moments and adds a very special touch to the gala. "The Lipizzaners represent tradition, style, and Austrian culture – just like an evening at Heldenberg. It is a great gift for me to be able to delight this audience," says Max Müller with gratitude.

For many years, Christian Plettenberg has accompanied the gala at Heldenberg, and the internationally renowned horse expert enchants the audience with his charming and warm manner. With palpable passion and impressive expertise, he guides the evening, tells exciting stories about the Lipizzaners, and brings the long tradition of the Spanish Riding School to life.
