Shepherds play an important role in the Christmas story: It is precisely the "common people" who are the first to hear about Jesus' birth. The shepherds represent all of us; everyone can and should identify with them. The Good Shepherd concerts have a tradition at MuTh: In the Christmas concert of the Vienna Boys' Choir, the various campus choirs present atmospheric motets and songs, both a cappella and with orchestra. Of course, the audience gets involved: Those who wish are invited to sing along with some Christmas hits. Thus, a concert becomes a musical celebration for the whole family.
