Christkindlmarkt PERG translates to "Christmas Market PERG" in English.

The Christkindlmarkt Perg offers an atmospheric mix of music. Music accompanies the market activities in the outdoor area and in the parish hall. In addition to brass ensembles and bands from the region, choirs also contribute to the program. We are pleased that on Saturday, some ensembles from the state music school will be participating.

Perger Delicacies
The Advent treats from the local hosts can be enjoyed on all three market days starting from noon. The Amstler butcher shop is known for its outstanding preparation of bratwurst, which is served with sauerkraut or as Bosna. In the "Jäger-Hütte," Josef and Anni Seyr serve wild specialties such as venison stew, wild cheese sausages, or venison goulash. Fritz Strondl prepares cheese spaetzle and Kaiserschmarrn for visitors, and of course, the probably best fries in the region. Visitors warm up from the inside with hot drinks like mulled cider and various punch options around the market stalls.

The Sweet Temptations
The pastries and warm farmer's donuts from Konditorei Stöger sweeten the stay. Baker Pani is also preparing his sweet offerings: fruit bread, Perger kisses, cookies, and punch-filled donuts – and as always at the Christkindlmarkt, there are also giant salt sticks. The beekeepers' association offers honey-poppy noodles and powidl dumplings, along with the popular mead punch. In the parish hall, pastry chef Kern presents his sweet Advent assortment. He also offers handcrafted items from the Erzgebirge and tea gift sets.
