During cherry blossom season, the region around Scharten is particularly attractive, with its gently rolling landscape dotted with numerous fruit trees and the culinary offerings from the Schartner farms and businesses inviting you to hike and enjoy.

On the cherry blossom hike, you have various circular routes to choose from: the Cherry Blossom Path (11.3 km), the Roithamer Round (4.6 km), the Kronberg Ground Path (3.5 km), and the Panorama Path (6.5 km). The circular routes can be freely combined, meaning you can also create a custom tour from farm to farm. Meadow paths and paved paths alternate along the way. The majority of the hiking trails are car-free!

At the farms, snack stations, and inns, you will be treated to delicious delicacies and regional farm products. Details about this, as well as the extensive accompanying program, will be published in due time on the website and in the event brochure.

General Important Information for the Hike

You can start wherever you like. The majority of the hiking trails are car-free. There are plenty of designated large parking areas available. A shuttle bus runs from the LILO station in Fraham to Scharten. Please note that participation is at your own risk. Stay on the marked paths and do not leave any litter behind. Smoking is prohibited in forested areas!
