In metalcore, Fit For A King has long been considered a heavyweight - and for good reason. For over a decade, the Texan quintet led by frontman Ryan Kirby has been writing songs that combine raw intensity, captivating melodies, and emotional depth. Together with Bobby Lynge (guitar), Daniel Gailey (guitar), Ryan "Tuck" O'Leary (bass), and Trey Celaya (drums), they have steadily evolved from their DIY debut "Descendants" (2011) to the celebrated chart successes of recent years, always finding their own voice along the way.
With their eighth and new studio album "Lonely God," Fit For A King is taking their craft to a new level. Created in Los Angeles, the album captures the band's energy like never before. Each member has left their mark - evident in songs like the lead single "No Tomorrow," which floats between apocalyptic vibes and a hunger for life with its anthemic chorus, or in the explosive title track that exposes the pursuit of power as a lonely dead end.
Fit For A King is more than just a metalcore band - they are brothers who have gone through highs and lows together. With "Lonely God," they sound as uncompromising, honest, and powerful as ever.

Memphis May Fire | are back - and stronger than ever. The American metalcore band also brings their eighth and new album "Shapeshifter." Identity, self-deception, and the masks we wear in everyday life are central themes of this record. Matty Mullins (vocals) describes the album as "a journey through deception and self-reflection" - an attempt to reveal the truth in a world full of facades.
Musically, Memphis May Fire once again blends aggressive riffs with melodic hooks, dark lyrics, and captivating breakdowns - demonstrating that they not only master their genre but also continue to grow.
Current album:
"Shapeshifter" (2025), Rise Records
Acres | are among the most exciting new voices in post-hardcore and have established themselves as international hopefuls since their debut "Lonely World" (2019). With their follow-up "Burning Throne" (2023), the band made their next big leap: sold-out club shows, enthusiastic reviews, and a growing audience that celebrates their intense mix of heaviness and melancholy. In 2025, "The Host" followed - produced by Landon Tewers (The Plot In You). Acres combine heavy riffs, epic melodies, and unflinching honesty into a sound that is simultaneously powerful, emotional, and highly captivating.
Current album:
"The Host" (2025), Tooth & Nail + Solid State Records
