The Bavarian brass rebels are back - with a new album and an explosive tour! Brass, pop, techno, ska, Bavarian charm, and a healthy dose of punk attitude: LaBrassBanda have shaken up brass music and thrilled millions of fans. From "Habediehre" to "Übersee" to "Europa" - hit after hit, their energetic shows are legendary parties.
Starting in 2007 as a musical revolution in Bavaria, they brought their dialect to the whole republic during the German ESC preliminary round in 2013. This was followed by sold-out venues from Berlin to Munich, packed festival stages at Southside and Hurricane, and euphoric nights under the open sky. Live, they are a sure bet - and have long been in demand across Europe. In 2014, they toured the UK in a nightliner, and today they are at home on the biggest festival stages.
"Kiah Royal" (2014) was created in a cow shed, featuring guests like Christoph Well, Rocko Schamoni, and Stephan Remmler. In 2022, they published the book "Barfuß in Lederhosen um die Welt" with Jan Wehn - a mix of photo book and biography about travels from Marrakech to Novosibirsk.
In 2024, the singles "Goaßnmaß," "Teufelstanz," and "Space Bäda" gave a taste of the new album. Friendship, a clear stance against discrimination, and the bold mix of Bavarian sounds and hip-hop (with Roger Rekless) showcase their versatility.
Now "Polka Party" is ready - cover: a hand-painted watercolor by Tobias Rehberger. LaBrassBanda are guaranteed to get the dance floors shaking again.
