The Concert at the State Gallery
The total work of art LAMENTO GRANDE combines a musical fireworks display with visual opulence. The State Gallery in the Cultural and Congress Center Eisenstadt was not chosen as the venue for this concert by chance. Author, director, and singer-songwriter Peter Wagner, whose band project operates under the label ErosK. And His Prince – Rabold-Paul-Wagner, utilizes numerous works by visual artists from the region to visually accompany the songs. The visual reference to the fine arts enhances the sensitivity to both the musical-lyrical and the visual communication, thus creating a third, sensually experienceable element in the interplay of all introduced artistic genres.

Film presentation of an art action by Peter Wagner and the Open House Oberwart involving 48 artists from the fields of visual arts, literature, and music from the year 2022. Duration: 22 min.
6:00 PM: LAMENTO GRANDE - the concert
