Comedy with Bank Robbery - People's Theatre

"Mission Impossible?" Through a daring yet clumsy coup, a provincial bank is turned literally upside down. A petty criminal has spectacularly escaped from the - apparently inadequately secured - high-security wing and even more spectacularly broken into the - equally inadequately secured - bank. There, a diamond of immeasurable value is stored. However, the safecracker has not counted on the staff: from the eternal intern to the janitor, from the cashier to the branch manager's daughter, everyone gets in his way, and his heist spirals out of control. Amid pickpockets, con artists, and white-collar criminals, it eventually becomes unclear who the real criminal is – and even more so, into whose pocket the jewel will end up!

The turbulent antics in the style of Monty Python by the "Mischief Theatre Company" originally stem from improvisational theater. The now globally acclaimed shows of the British troupe combine slapstick, acrobatics, and silly wordplay. Comedy specialist Christian Brey brings the play, filled with Hollywood references from escape drama to high-tech action movie, to the stage.
