Classic meets Boogie Woogie

The SATAO association is starting off 2026 with enthusiasm and a musical highlight: "Classic meets Boogie-Woogie" is entering its 4th edition! Following the great successes of recent years, we will once again surprise you with musical delights! Look forward to an exciting mix of classical music and boogie-woogie, featuring young talents and "old masters"!

The "Boogie-Woogie Session 76 live in Vienna" marked the beginning of the Boogie Boom at the Vienna Concert Hall in 1976, and the two who popularized blues and boogie back then, even reaching number 1 on the charts, will be performing live on stage in Wels on January 24, 2026: Martin Pyrker and Axel Zwingenberger! Together with brother Torsten Zwingenberger and daughter Sabine Pyrker, they remain the number 1 in the blues and boogie scene.

Also joining us will be Boogie Kathi – young, dynamic, charming, performing solo at the piano with vocals or in a duo with clarinetist and singer Bernhard Fauster.

And of course, we will once again present young talents and winners of international competitions on piano and violin: Sophie Baumgartner, Jana Pelikan, and Magdalena Rogic! They will surely win the hearts of the audience with their charm and skill!

As always, the entire proceeds from the concert will go to our school and well projects in Tanzania and to ISZ-Wels.
