New Year's Concert of the Salon Orchestra 2026

An Unforgettable Music Evening in the New Year

The Salon Orchestra Bad Goisern cordially invites you to the New Year's Concert on January 4, 2026, in the Festsaal Bad Goisern.

You can look forward to a colorful bouquet of operetta melodies, primarily composed by the two most famous Austrian operetta composers, Johann Strauss and Franz Lehár.

From Strauss, you will hear, alongside two lively polkas, his famous "Emperor Waltz," and from Lehár, touching melodies such as the "Volga Song" and "Lips Are Sealed."

LOVE, with all its facets, is the guiding theme of this year's program, interpreted by two young rising artists: soprano Sophie Schneider from Bad Ischl and tenor Sebastian Rindberger from Salzburg.

Sophie Schneider already has some experience on the stages of Ischl, including through the Lehár Festival and the operetta salons. She will be participating in the New Year's Concert with the Salon Orchestra Bad Goisern for the second time.

Sebastian Rindberger has performed at venues such as the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, the Great Hall of the Mozarteum Salzburg, and the Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg.

The Salon Orchestra Bad Goisern, under the direction of its founder Alexander Rindberger, looks forward to your attendance.

Since 2007, the Salon Orchestra Bad Goisern has been delighting the Inner Salzkammergut. In three different formations, you can experience an elegant mix of Viennese entertainment music and modern arrangements – from waltzes and polkas to cha-cha, samba, and tango. Their signature includes lively New Year's concerts featuring works from Johann Strauss to Franz Lehár, alongside great orchestral literature, virtuoso soloists, and surprising guest appearances.
