20 years of DYSTRUST should actually be celebrated, we thought last year. Unfortunately, things didn’t go quite as we had hoped. Thus, not only Markus "Jacky" Jakwert is celebrating his 45th birthday, but also the band Dystrust. Since 2005, deeply rooted in the Austrian and international metal scene, the Dystrustosauriers are more uncompromising and aggressive than ever. If you haven't experienced the 5 of DYSTRUST live yet, it's time to change that urgently. Austrian thrashcore at its best. Also joining the lineup are SPIRE OF LAZARUS. They combine elements of technical death metal and deathcore with the aim of telling stories that reflect impressions and feelings from video games. Headlining the celebration is KONTRUST. KONTRUST undoubtedly belongs to the most unique and exciting acts in the scene. The band captivates fans and critics alike with an unparalleled ability to fuse various genres like reggae, pop, and dance with heavy hard rock riffs. Coupled with their distinctive way of sonically and visually representing the roots of their homeland, KONTRUST delivers a unique and thrilling overall package. In autumn 2025, "I Like To Move It" was released as the very first cover song in nearly 25 years of the band's history, and the name is certainly fitting.
