On Saturday, May 23, 2026, a new running and hiking event, NORTHTRAILS.RUN, will celebrate its premiere in the Bohemian Forest. The start and finish will be at the Stift Schlägl, where all participants and guests can look forward to a sporty yet sociable experience. The varied routes will take runners through the impressive nature of the Bohemian Forest, offering suitable challenges for different skill levels. Several refreshment stations will be available along the route to provide refreshments and nourishment. In addition to the sporting events, a colorful supporting program is also planned: smaller festivals and culinary offerings will invite visitors to linger, making the event not only a sporting highlight but also a tourist attraction.
