KENSINGTON (NL) "Europe Tour 2026" After a summer full of sold-out festival shows and a series of new singles, Kensington from the Netherlands proudly announces the release of their new album "First Rodeo." The album will be released at the end of November and includes singles such as "Moment," "Little By Little," and "Stay." "First Rodeo" is the first album featuring the new lead vocalist Jason Dowd, who was born in Louisiana, USA. It also marks the band's return after a five-year hiatus since former singer Eloi Youssef left Kensington. For Jason Dowd, "First Rodeo" represents a new chapter in his life: "For me, 'First Rodeo' says it all. It's my first rodeo, where the guys are teaching me the ropes, and it reflects the fun, adventurous spirit we share as a band and friends. And of course, it's a nod to my roots back home." The rest of the band - Casper Starreveld, Jan Haker, and Niles Vandenberg - also sees the album as a true fresh start: "The energy during the making of this record was fantastic. With Jason, there's that raw spark; everything feels alive again. 'First Rodeo' has the feel of a fresh start, but still sounds like Kensington at full throttle. We're incredibly excited to release new music into the world." The rockers from Utrecht will also showcase their talent live on the upcoming tour, proving once again that they are among the best live acts in their homeland: at the beginning of December, Kensington will fill the Amsterdam Ziggo Dome three times in a row - in Austria, they will take the stage at the Wiener Szene in mid-February.
