Laakirchen Christmas Market
Enjoy cozy hours with friends and family at the Laakirchen Christmas Market on December 13 and 14, 2025. Culinary delights and selected handicrafts await you in the church parking lot and at the State Music School. The Laakirchen Music School ensembles and brass groups from local music bands will provide a festive atmosphere with their music. Additionally, the LIONS Club Laakirchen invites you to a charity concert with the Troubadours at the parish church of Laakirchen on Saturday at 5:00 PM.
Baking Cookies & Stories for Children
A comprehensive children's program will be offered, featuring a fragrant baking workshop where gingerbread is made from scratch. A model train exhibition by the model building club, puppet theater, and creative crafting opportunities round out the varied program. This year, Christmas stories will be read in the Laakirchen library.
Winter Torch Hike
On Sunday, December 14, the "Healthy Community" working group invites you to a picturesque winter torch hike. "Big & Small" will meet at 4:30 PM at the fire pit in the church parking lot, where the torches will be distributed. The approximately one-hour hike will lead to viewpoints that offer a glimpse of the festively illuminated Laakirchen. At Fraunberg, hikers will listen to the sounds of a brass group. A torch hike is especially an experience for children!
