A Country-Rock musical hit from 2010 in a new production with new choreography and many country rock evergreens as well as new songs by Christian Deix. "Go West" tells the story of an Austro rocker named "Gogo" (Andy Lee Lang), who becomes a victim of a soul regression and gets stuck in the former Wild West. Now he imagines himself to be Buffalo Bill and is the main attraction in a Western saloon in Vienna's Prater. Together with an Austropop Indian from the provinces, he must face adventures worthy of a Western hero. The landlord of the establishment is a Praterstrizzi, just like in the picture books: Schurli Schulze, known as "the Outlaw" (Boris Pfeifer), who has no interest in such a "Wild West museum" but would rather establish a themed venue in tune with the times ("Twilight" - for young vampire fans). Tension is in the air. But love is not neglected either, especially as the waitress Maria (Tania Golden) falls hopelessly in love with the Praterstrizzi. In the most outrageous showdown since the time when the Marx Brothers visited the Wild West, the Austro rocker Gogo proves to be a tower in the battle. For he is deeply convinced: "Buffalo Bill lives in me."
